Abstract

Tactical networks require highly reliable network architecture to maintain data integrity. Segment Routing (SR) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) are innovative technologies that can improve the network’s stability. The TactSR system uses SR and SDN to adjust network routes to reduce packet loss dynamically. Emulations using real-world topologies show that TactSR is more effective than the baseline solution in reducing traffic losses and decreasing maximum link utilization.
