Suspended Center-Fed Slot-Loaded Plate Antennas

Abstract

This paper describes a dual-band suspended plate antenna having a balanced center-fed feeding configuration and a pair of slots near the radiating edges of the plate. The effects of slots on the impedance and radiation characteristics of the antenna are experimentally examined.
