Resonant structures and applications to mobile handset antennas

Abstract

Resonant structures including stubs, slots, loops and combination of these basic resonant structures have been reviewed. A very compact resonant structure has been proposed and examined for mobile antenna designs to demonstrate the effectiveness of improving mobile handset antennas' isolation, radiation efficiency and pattern diversity.
