The management efficiency of PPP projects in rural China

Abstract

This paper investigates the management efficiency of the public sector in Public Private Partnership at rural areas in China. Multi-case study and interview survey are used for data collection purposes. The pro and con of the management process of county level government public sector for PPP procurement are discussed. Suggestions are given for the public sector to improve management efficiency as the Client of PPP projects. The findings can benefit the government sector taking advantage of PPP procurement mechanism and deliver best value for money for the public.
