Abstract

The aim of the article is to try and categorise original super-modern names given to Polish celebrities’ children following the standards of an anthroponymic system established in the subject literature. A child in the world of celebrity is one „of many gadgets”. The objectification of children is exemplified, according to psychologists and sociologists, by giving them unconventional names. The analysis includes the original names of Polish celebrities, such as Alikia, Ilia, Lea, Mia, Vivienne or Vienna.
