Abstract

In this paper, deriving a dynamic model based on the coupled-mode and carrier rate equations, we have proposed a new technique to switch ON and OFF of a chirped DFB-SOA all-optical flip-flop based on self phase modulation (SPM) and cross phase modulation (XPM).
