Abstract

This study describes an algorithm which improves the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of electromagnetic waves to a uniform, linear array (ULA) of antennas. Under some conditions, referring to the low number of sources, the algorithm allows obtaining an angle resolution better than that bounded by the limited number of antennas. It can be obtained by reducing the topic to one of solving a set of equations, with a sparse solution.
