Abstract

A description of an automatic program generation system for plant controllers is presented. The proposed method makes it possible to generate the program by expressing the operation procedure document clearly using symbols, blocks with sentences, lines, and signal names and by relating them to program modules which are based on a hierarchical and standard structure. The operation procedure document is monitored in real time with the original document format on a CRT display.<>
