Retorno Sobre la Inversión en Proyectos de Software Agiles: Una propuesta pedagógica de ROI-SCRUM

Abstract

El uso de métricas en el desarrollo de software ha sido pobremente atendido en el contexto académico. En el caso de la métrica para estimar el retorno de la inversión (ROI por sus siglas en Ingles), en el contexto de los proyectos Scrum, es un ejemplo típico de este problema. Es difícil encontrar en la literatura elementos que puedan ayudar al maestro a incorporar este tema en el currículo. Este artículo presenta los resultados preliminares de un proyecto en curso destinado a desarrollar un modelo pedagógico para ROI en un curso de Ingeniería de Sistemas. Este proyecto permitirá al profesor y sus alumnos, el estudio del ROI de forma sistemática e ilustrada. The use of metrics in software development has been poorly attended in academia. In the case of the metric to estimate the Return on Investment (ROI), in the context of Scrum projects, it is a typical example of this problem. It is difficult to find in the literature elements that can help the teacher to incorporate this topic into the curricula. This article presents the preliminary results of an ongoing project aimed to develop a pedagogical model for ROI in a Systems Engineering course. This project will allow to the teacher and its students, the study ROI in a systematic and illustrated way.
