Abstract

Gordon Moore's predictions refer, in addition to the resolution at which we can make the devices, also to the size of the chips and to the "circuit cleverness". Considering Moore's law in all its aspects offers a more complex perspective on the current evolution of the field of integrated circuits. Computers, as a General-Purpose Technology, tend to be replaced by various types of accelerators. A possible solution that we present is based on parallelism supported by the recursive abstract model that we propose starting from the model of partially recursive functions of Stephen Kleene.
