Abstract

The impact of RFID on a global scale can optimize the supply chain, monitor process behavior, and remotely track objects. RFID can also contribute to managing material handling, e.g., automatic material sorting, minimize manual work, improve speed, and record the necessary parameters. This paper aims to identify the chipless RFID properties concerning operational factors, tracking, and localization. The readers’ antenna transmitting power is adjusted based upon the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value.
