Because of the characteristic of layered roller compaction, the joint of each layer will become the weak layer in the concrete, which plays a key role in the calculation of anti-slip stability of RCC gravity dam. In this paper, in-situ shear tests of 180d RCC with different interlayer treatment methods were carried out, and the shear strength parameters of different interlayer treatment methods were obtained. Abstract
The selection of interlayer shear strength parameters of RCC is very important for the stability and safety of dam.
