TRADITIONAL IMAGES IN “NEW PHRASEOLOGY”

Abstract

The article raises questions related to the evolution of the Russian language picture of the world. The article considers a set of new stable phrasemes that perform the function of representatives for the concept “Digit / Digital” in discursive practice and moreover actualize connections with traditional images of European culture. It is argued that the thematic diversity of the new units testifies to the concept transformation.
