Abstract

Brooke Maslo (brooke.maslo@rutgers.edu) is an Assistant Professor, Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dr. Maslo is a conservation biologist with interests in the role of biodiversity in the provisioning of ecosystem services. Her work spans multiple taxonomic groups, including shorebirds and bats, and she actively partners with governmental agencies to develop evidencebased recommendations for the management of wildlife habitat, particularly in densely populated areas.
