The Region 3 electro-technology industries database

Abstract

This paper describes the implementation and deployment of a query engine to allow e-mail access to an electro-technology industries (ETI) database to assist in identifying possible employers. The developed system allows controlled access to the database using a personal computer as a query server. Access is based on membership in IEEE and residence within IEEE's Region 3 (Southeast US and Jamaica).
