Infant diagnosed with cardiac fibroma after detection of cardiomegaly on telecardiography

Abstract

Evaluation of chest X-ray is very valuable in diagnosing many diseases. On the graph, lung parenchyma, cardiac size, and bone pathologies should be evaluated as a whole. Here, we emphasized the importance of evaluating routine examina-tions by describing a patient who was admitted to our emergency department with the complaint of cough and was diagnosed with a cardiac tumor and who underwent echocardiography with an increased cardiothoracic ratio on chest X-ray and ST-T change with voltage increase in ECG although his cardiac physical examination was normal.
