The study revealed that, the effects of transformation leadership styles on employee’s performance are: higher level of morality and motivation, employees’ growth, employees’ development, promotes new ideology, intelligence and better job performance. The effects of transactional leadership styles on employees’ performance are: creations of corrective and constructive behaviaour, employees’ exportation of rewards for an improve performance and employees’ recognition. Abstract

This study seeks to identify the effect of leadership styles on employee job performance in manufacturing industry in Nigeria: a study of Dufil Prima Foods Plc. Port Harcourt.
