Forensic Analysis of Inventor Qualifications using Social Media Data

Abstract

This paper describes a method for forensically evaluating the risk of improper inventorship attribution based on the analysis of extrinsic social media data. Application of this forensic method can be done in a relatively low cost manner, by using automated search tools mining information on social networks such as LinkedIn. The gathered data can be used to generate an individual's IQF (Inventorship Quality Factor).
