Abstract

This paper argues that proper consideration should be given to the potential electromagnetic leakage from wired data networks that are continuously being enhanced to deliver faster services. Given the present hiatus in European and international network standards development, it may be necessary to revisit national enforcement standards, extending those already in place to meet the new requirements.
