Samrt grid intiative in United States — A case study of planning and achievements in city of Naperville, IL USA

Abstract

Growth in population and new innovation in consumer goods has triggered the manifold demand for more electricity. On the contrary, limited availability of traditional sources of electrical power has not made to the matching demand. There is a need to address this with a plan for an intelligent power management system and effective distribution to reduce energy wastage. It also invites new paradigm to explore alternate source of energy.
