Abstract
The author presents an iterative optimization procedure to achieve the goals of furthering the understanding of brain functions so that an artificial visual system can be built. The applications of these algorithms are almost unlimited. Examples are presented in visual evoked potentials, pattern recognition and real time reduction of motion artifacts.<>
