The finding revealed that manpower training programmes has direct influence on job retention. Also, the finding established that out of the six (6) manpower training programmes carried out in the study, only two (labour relations skill and interpersonal treatment skill training) significantly influence workers job retention in Nigerian banking industry. Abstract

This study examined the nexus between manpower training programmes and workers job retention in Nigeria banking industry.
