Abstract

Hybrid substrates based on three structurally distinct diatom biosilica coated with ultrathin uniform gold were utilized in SERS. The comparative analysis showed that substrates containing cylindrical Aulacoseira sp. valves achieved the enhancement up to 8-folds.
