The intensity of electromagnetic pulse produced by laser is closely related to the output energy of laser. Through the simplified monopole emission model, this paper evaluates the relationship between electromagnetic pulse intensity and laser energy and power, obtains the linear relationship curve of electromagnetic pulse intensity with laser power, and predicts the electromagnetic pulse radiation environment of high-power laser device under the condition of laser output energy above 2MJ. Combined with the cavity structure of the laser device, the calculation method of electromagnetic pulse propagation and distribution is demonstrated.
