Abstract

Recently, the Lithium-ion Battery is used as the energy storage device for interconnection distributed system that utilizes solar cell. However, the power obtained by the solar cell becomes unstable by the weather condition. This paper shows the charging system that can be charged efficiently the Lithium-ion Battery from the unstable power source such as solar cell. The charging equipment applies a DC-DC Converter using the SiC-MOSFET to realize high efficiency and low degradation. In addition, this paper shows charging equipment composed by the Master-Slave system. This equipment can realize the low degradation charging and MPPT control of solar power system.
