However, with the increase of antennas, the channel matrix dimension is getting higher and higher, and the channel situation is more complicated, which puts forward higher requirements for channel estimation algorithm. In this paper, we have studied two pilot-based channel estimation algorithms: LS and MMES algorithm. We have applied these two channel estimation algorithms to OFDM systems and analyzed their results respectively. Our simulation results show that the performance of MMSE channel estimation is better than LS channel estimation, but its computational complexity is higher than LS channel estimation. Abstract
