The third order optical nonlinearity of chalcogenide glass is utilized in tuning the resonant behavior of the nano-antenna. It was found that significant shifts in the resonance wavelength of the antenna are possible for small incremental changes in the illuminating field. Abstract
The scattering properties of a plasmonic bowtie nano-antenna coated with chalcogenide glass are studied using a three dimensional nonlinear Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) simulator.
