Applications and properties of transparent ferroelectric ceramics: trends and recent progress

Abstract

Considering the modern production technology of transparent ferroelectric ceramics (TFCs) as well as the material properties and parameters of existing (including commercial products) and expected devices on the basis of TFC, the authors discuss its place among other optoelectronic materials. The emphasis is on optical and electrooptical properties and phase transition features in PLZT.<>
