The data obtained were examined in terms of normal distribution and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that the data were distributed normally. Independent groups t-test was used for the participants' gender, educational status and in-service training, and ANOVA test was used for the education level and seniority variables. As a result of the research, it was found that teachers' perceptions of competence towards using alternative measurement and evaluation techniques did not make a significant difference according to gender. It was concluded that there was a significant difference in terms of educational status, in-service training, education level and seniority variables. Abstract
