However, the proposed design provides a novel model of a small size patch antenna that is easier to build and has improved return loss, efficiency, and gain than previous research studies. The recommended patch antenna design is 18mm×2.451mm×0.257mm. The substrate material for this antenna is Roger RT5880 (lossy), which has a permittivity of 2.2. According to the simulation results, this design has a return loss of -28.96 dB, a VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) of 1.08497, a gain of 5.152 dB, and an antenna efficiency of 67.026%.
