Abstract

The subject of the research is the scientific and innovative activity of the region and the tools of its evaluation. The level of efficiency of the region's activity is determined using data envelopement analysis. An approach to ranking of regions based on the entropy of resource indicators and results of the activity is considered. The results will allow the regional authorities to identify problem areas of innovative development and make informed management decisions to intensify it
