Abstract

A novel printed S-shaped monopole antenna for tri-band wireless local area network (WLAN) operation is presented. The antenna consists of two meander radiating strips leading to generate two separate resonant modes where the first mode is for the 2.4 GHz-band and the second mode is for the 5.2/5.8 GHz-band operation.
