This required changing and understanding consumers’ awareness, behavior, and increasing their knowledge in the subject of energy use. Providing that households are conscious about electricity consumption and studying factors affecting them can help to reduce energy consumption in residential areas. For this reason, a graphical user interface was created in this study in order to raise awareness of energy to consumers and thus reduce energy consumption.
