Abstract

The work is devoted to solving the problem of constructive synthesis of an inhomogeneous isotropic impedance plane which reflects simultaneously several uniform E-polarized plane waves incident from different directions in one arbitrarily defined direction. For the first time, the required distribution laws of the reactance are found explicitly. The obtained formulas for the reflection coefficient and for the scattering diagram are confirmed by the results rigorously. Solutions to the analysis problems were obtained using the Ansoft HFSS package, which confirmed the validity of the obtained theoretical relations. The results of numerical studies are presented.
