It is found that in all cases the change in WQI value follow a similar trend throughout the study period. The lake water is found of not good quality during summer seasons (WQI-100 to 200). Abstract

The water quality index is a single number that expresses the quality of water by integrating the water quality variables. Its purpose is to provide a simple and concise method for expressing the water quality for different usage.
