Abstract

With the development of information technology, there is an increasing demand for high data transmission speed and reliability. Especially in scenarios such as Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), conventional Ethernet cannot meet the requirements of packet loss-free service. In order to provide reliable Ethernet transmission, additional link layer control mechanism for 100G Ethernet is introduced in this paper, and is implemented with coarse-grained reconfigurable array (CGRA). The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method realizes the link layer reliable transmission of Ethernet packets, and has the advantages in terms of processing speed and flexibility.
