Abstract

It is clear from the large number of citations that there is strong demand for improving the accuracy and rapidity of the standard dielectric measurement techniques and for matching them to particular applications. For the general presentation of this chapter, we have tried to keep, as far as possible, the same organization as in Volume 40, but some subsections had to be added or extended in order to make the organization of the various references easier.
