Abstract
The ever-increasing number of vehicles and their various resource-hungry applications pose new challenges for computation and storage for providing reliable and efficient vehicular services. In this paper, we propose a new architecture to mix together the remote central cloud server, edge computing server, Software Defined Network (SDN) controller and vehicular cloud reasonably to utilize the sporadic and available resources for mobile applications offloading from vehicles. In our proposed architecture, SDN controllers adjust offloading process and network flow according to resource usage conditions of cloud servers and network; the vehicular cloud serves as a auxiliary cloud service provider for vehicles. Moreover, we present the new architecture and expound the existing problem and sloution in the architecture.
