Abstract

This paper deals with the possibilities of evaluating the shielding effectiveness through the simulation of the waveguide in the Ansys HFSS simulation software. A waveguide with certain frequency 3.7GHz was done. Frequency range is from 2 to 8 GHz. Materials such as rubber, marble, glass, plexiglass and ferrite were selected for the simulation and subsequently the shielding effectiveness was evaluated.
