Abstract

Surrogate modeling using a polynomial approximation of a coarse model of a Substrate Integrated Wave guide (SIW) with micro strip transitions is presented in this paper. The surrogate modeling process is realized considering different base points distributions, as well as different sizes for the region of interest in order to evaluate their impact on the corresponding surrogate modeling accuracy.
