Electromagnetic scattering of an H-polarized wave by a slotted semi-elliptical channel truncated by a metal plane

Abstract

A slotted semi-elliptical trench is flush-mounted under a metal plane, and is truncated perpendicularly by another metal plane. The scattered field due to an H-polarized plane wave obliquely incident on this metallic structure is determined exactly, in the phasor domain.
