The superiority of the proposed (SCA) controller has been shown by comparing the results with (PSO) and conventional PID. Abstract

This work presents new and efficient optimization technique known as the Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) is proposed for Automatic Generation Control (AGC) of multi area power systems.
