As a result of the research, a promising foreign sample of winter triticale Hortenso was noted. It belongs to the durum-form variety, the ear is white, spinous, hairless, dense. The length of the spike is 9.9 cm. The grain is of medium size, well done, light red. The productivity potential of the variety is more than 11.5 t/ha. Resistant to frost. The mass of 1000 grains is 55.8 g.
