Experimental researches of Mandelstam - Brillouin backscattering features in the “Panda” optical fiber

Abstract

Experimental researches results of Mandelstam - Brillouin backscatter spectrum in a single-mode “Panda” optical fiber are presented in this article. Graphics obtained by BOTDR are given. Analysis of the experiment results revealed significant dependence differences of the “Panda” optical fiber from the same dependences of others optical fiber types.
