Abstract

Pulse oximetry has become the standard clinical method for monitoring patient's blood oxygen saturation and heart rate. Therefore hospitals need a straightforward means to check the accuracy of pulse oximeters. Due to the economic constraints in the developing world, commercial pulse oximeter testers often can not be afforded. Thus, the purpose of this project is to design a small, inexpensive pulse oximeter analyzer for developing world hospitals.
