Abstract

The term aerospace qualification may be misleading as qualification testing is applicable to virtually all components and systems in various applications and markets. Aerospace applications, both commercial and military, are only unique in their rather harsh conditions given the installation environment and the potentially lethal consequences of either component or system malfunction or failure.
