Abstract

As an important field of unconventional oil and gas exploration, fractured reservoir is equivalent to HTI medium because of the existence of high angle or nearly vertical fractures, which seismic response presents azimuthal anisotropy characteristics. Many scholars have considered the reflection and transmission coefficients of HTI media according to different research purposes. Based on Thomsen's theory, Rüger established an approximate formula for P and SV waves reflection/transmission coefficients in HTI media. (Thomsen,1986; Rüger,1998)
