These reports helped researchers in their research paper to study and suggest various solutions for aforementioned problem. Abstract

Power system is a highly integrated network and due to this the disturbance in one area will spread to another area. Improper operation and late response of control and protective device lead to cascaded events which if not attended properly and timely than blackout condition may arise. The witnessing reports on the past decades blackouts reveal this unavoidable truth. Among the several natural causes, protection system failure is one of them.
