In connection with this, the objective was set – to determine the criteria for quality assessing of abstract translation. Results. The article analyses the works of domestic and foreign authors, considering the criteria for determining the quality of abstract translation as well as didactic methods and stages of creating of abstract translated text as an element of linguistic, cognitive and analytical processes. The papers of participants of All-Russian student contest of abstract translation were used as a material for practical research to solve the tasks. Conclusion. Abstract

Statement of the problem. Informatization of the global space and the growing need of intercultural interaction have an impact on all spheres of human life.
