Abstract

A digital barometer was designed to measure air pressure and altitude. This design adopted STC series microcontroller STC12c5a60s2 as the core controller. The BMP085 digital pneumatic sensor was used as the measuring sensor. The LCD display screen named 1602 was used to display the information about the pressure and the altitude. According to the design requirements, the circuit board was drawn, made and debugged. According to the design function, the IIC program, the initialization program of BMP085 and the conversion program of pressure and altitude were written and debugged. The pressure data was processed. The experimental system was set up. The pressure altitude of different floors of the electronic building was measured for several times at different temperatures.
